The best Reading Culture newsletters

Literary Luddite is a personal newsletter from an Australian books enthusiast covering reading culture, the effects of social media and algorithms on how we see the world, and local book events. Readers get reflective essays on literacy, online life and hope alongside event listings for book clubs and craft sessions.

A newsletter about books, reading culture, literary criticism and publishing, with essays on topics like independent bookstores, literary fiction and slow reading. The excerpts offer general reflections on how context shapes the reading experience and what useful criticism does.
