A weekly personal letter of lyrical, fragmentary prose drawing on the author's daily life, work at a bike shop, home, and the places she visits. Readers get observational, intimate essays plus occasional notes on readings and literary events.
A personal travelogue and culture newsletter by Meaghan Garvey that mixes road trips through the American Midwest with music commentary and memoir. Readers get long, voice-driven essays on places like Cleveland, Door County and the Driftless, plus pop culture asides.
A personal essay newsletter by a self-described dilettante exploring aesthetics, fashion and everyday experience, with recent pieces on the pleasure of looking deliberately dumb in clothes and on cycling and urban life. Readers get idiosyncratic cultural criticism written in a literary, self-aware voice.
A personal, deeply emotional newsletter in which the writer chronicles caring for a beloved cat through terminal illness, interwoven with reflections on grief, family memory, and loneliness after a life upheaval. Readers get intimate, literary essays rather than news or advice.
