Tomes is a literary newsletter of short personal essays, fiction-like vignettes and poetry, with each issue offering a single creative piece on a theme. Readers get emotionally charged, stylistically ambitious writing rather than news or practical guidance.

A personal essay newsletter where the writer reflects on memory, belonging and everyday objects through short, literary pieces based on writing prompts. Each issue is a self-contained meditation drawing on personal history, such as books, a childhood mirror, or a family trip to the Arizona border.
A personal poetry site where each issue pairs a single prose poem with an AI-generated image. Poems are often previously published in literary journals and blend surreal, political and near-future imagery.
Personal essays and fiction-tinged storytelling rooted in the American South, where a sense of place, family history and regional landscape anchor each piece. Readers get literary, carefully observed narratives about memory, belonging and small-town life.
