SELVIKA is a new newsletter by Dries van der Kleij covering endurance adventures, including a multi-part account of his Tour Divide bikepacking race in 2026 and a piece on pursuing an extraordinary dream. The sample is thin, with one placeholder issue and one issue containing only a placeholder message, so the writing style is hard to judge.

Barrels+Bombs publishes first-person travel and adventure dispatches with photography, covering road trips, surf, camping and outdoor landscapes mainly across the American West. Issues read as narrative essays rather than guides or news.
A serialized science fiction adventure novel told in first person, following a captive narrator in a Polynesian-inspired world as he is caged and marched toward an uncertain fate. The excerpts favour vivid sensory detail, tense pacing and a wry, gritty voice.
A first-person travel blog following Basti's bicycle journey along the Pan-American Highway from Alaska southwards, with each issue covering one leg of the route. Posts include distances, elevation gain, camping and gear details, and anecdotes from the road.
A sailing couple's blog-style newsletter chronicling their offshore voyage from British Columbia to the South Pacific, including a 39-day Bamfield to Hiva Oa passage with candid accounts of weather and seamanship. It also covers their boat choice, a 1985 Passport 40 refit, and the departure from Sidney.
