Personal essays from a wildlife and animal advocacy writer covering field trips, rescue work, gardening, and reflections on life and music. Readers get warm, candid anecdotes with occasional practical or conservation detail.
A cartoonist's quirky newsletter mixing short science stories, like the atomic-bomb otter rescue, with personal essays about rejected New Yorker cartoons and a deliberately pointless obsession with Southern California burritos. Readers get offbeat animal and science anecdotes, humorous self-reflection and reviews of inconsequential but lovingly documented things.
A daily positive-news newsletter, paired with YouTube videos, that tells single uplifting stories from science, animals, art and more. Each issue is written as a short narrative with sourced details and a reflective voice.
An author's newsletter pairing a quirky nature-science topic each issue (beavers and wildfire resilience, anglerfish) with updates on her debut novel and writing process. Readers get lightly sourced animal facts and a personal look at the publishing journey.
