Urgent Matter is a hard-news newsletter covering the art world's power structures, including lawsuits, museum governance, labor disputes and cultural heritage policy. Its sample issues report on a former Michaels employee's ADA and age discrimination suit and on the vandalism and reinstatement of a bronze devil sculpture in Esslingen, Germany.

Andrew Williamson, a full-time photographer and videographer, reflects on documenting Toronto public art, parks and installations such as Nuit Blanche and the Unfinished Arch. The newsletter pairs behind-the-scenes accounts of commissioned creative work with personal reflection on the creative process.

Project updates from a Formas-funded research project on the LTH Fountain, a dysfunctional modernist public artwork at Lund University. It shares journal issues, essays and calls for papers on the afterlives, care and failure of public art.
