Playtipus is a German-language newsletter from a small board game studio, written by its founder Daniel about playing games, therapeutic ideas drawn from play, and his struggle with social media while promoting non-digital games. Readers get personal reflections, references to game design and psychology, and news about the studio's events and products.

Short, practical essays on game design theory, each building one principle around concrete examples from games like Slay the Spire, Slipways and Rift Wizard. Readers get design heuristics they can apply to upgrade systems, synergies and multiplayer structure.
A weekly newsletter covering board and card games through history pieces, new-release roundups and individual game reviews. Readers get personal, opinionated writing with design context and some original research, such as Usenet archive digging.
A humorous, observational newsletter about everyday human behaviour, with each issue taking a single relatable scene (a costumed pet, a screaming baby at dinner, board game nights) and skewering it with wit. Readers get short, punchy essays that mix comedic exaggeration with real observations about social etiquette and modern habits.
